In a world fractured by evil, one WELL-EQUIPPED warrior RISES to PENETRATE the darkness—HARD, FAST, and DEEP! For mature readers only.
Great news! Lettering has officially begun, and we expect it to be completed within the next two weeks. We’re another big step closer to the finish line and can’t wait to get this book into everyone’s hands!
Hey, gang!
As the update title says, we’re already knocking out the back half of the book and moving quickly! You can expect fulfillment on this project to be QUICK.
Be on the lookout for surveys in the coming days so we can get everything squared away before we send out print order in.
Also, if you haven’t heard yet, we’ll be at NYCC this year at Booth #3257! We’ll have plenty of Bad Bug books, exclusives, and other goodies with us, so if you’re attending, be sure to stop by and say hello!
We Freaking Did It.
Honestly, we're kind of blown away.
When we launched Man'Hor #1, we thought people would dig it. We believed in the book, the team, and this weird little fantasy world we'd built. But we never expected to blow through every single stretch goal.
That's because of you.
This campaign has been a huge win for a brand-new series, but it's also a reminder of what Bad Bug is all about. We love taking genres we grew up with and twisting them into something fresh. We love creating characters you can actually get invested in. We love parody, but not the kind that spends all its time winking at the audience instead of telling a good story. And we definitely love making people laugh.
The response to Man'Hor tells us we're not alone.
So thank you!
Now it's time for us to do the fun part: making sure this comic absolutely delivers.
Seriously, thank you all. You helped turn Man'Hor from an idea into the beginning of something special.
Now let's see where this crazy thing goes!
We are doing a crossover print with Fun Time Go, Inc.’s MISS MINA and the MIDNIGHT GUARDIANS with an image featuring Vulvina from our Man’Hor #1 and Mina from Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians. To get this special comic-sized art print by The Xong Brothers just…
1) Back both Man’Hor #1 (here) and MISS MINA and the MIDNIGHT GUARDIANS on Kickstarter at the physical level.
2) Comment “Mina Vulvina” on both campaigns. Please make sure this is a public comment in the Comment section, rather than a private message or a comment on an update.
3) This item is being printed by Bad Bug Media and will be shipped with your Man’Hor #1 order.
What an awesome first 48 hours! We’ve already smashed through three Stretch Goals, with a few more still ahead of us.
Our Launch Specials have officially wrapped up, and there are only a handful of Embossed Metal Collector’s Editions left in the add-ons if you still want to grab one.
Seriously, thank you guys. We get to keep making weird, ridiculous books like Man’Hor because you continue to show up and support them. Seeing so many familiar names come back campaign after campaign means a lot to all of us here at Bad Bug.
We hope you’re having as much fun with this one as we are.
On to the next Stretch Goal!
